Tetracaine Popsicles
A local doctor referred a young girl to us who was suffering from an infection and a sore throat and refused to eat or drink anything. She had gotten so dehydrated that her parents were afraid they were going to have to have her admitted to the hospital and hooked up to IVs. We were able to compound the necessary medication into a tetracaine popsicle that the little girl could enjoy. Once she got the medicine she needed, she started eating and drinking again and was able to successfully avoid a hospital visit and invasive IVs.

We have one customer who was suffering from so much pain at work that he felt he was going to have to stop working, and the thought of not being able to support his family depressed him. He was not able to take oral pain relievers because they made him drowsy, and his job required that he be alert at all times.
