CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY INTENSIVE
Our upcoming CranioSacral Therapy (CST) intensive will be an opportunity for clients to experience the immense benefits of consecutive CST treatments and multi-hands work. Our local therapist Darin Puppel has invited Rob Fournier as a guest therapist to join him for the event. We are incredibly excited to bring such an outstanding opportunity for healing to our local clients, and we can not wait to see what lies in store. Mark your calendars now!
Dates: Friday-Sunday, May 6-8, 2016
Location: Lime in the Coconut Specialty Compounding Pharmacy
Cost: $350 per person
Each client will be treated by both therapists simultaneously for three days in a row. It should be an amazing experience for everyone involved!
What Is CranioSacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy is a hands-on therapy that supports the patient in making the adjustments and releases for which his/her body is ready. CST works closely with structures that surround and support the central nervous system to create a new body environment that encourages health and balance. CST is unique among all therapies in that the therapist's role is simply to support the patient's process and empower him/her on their individual healing journey.
What Is The Benefit Of Having Multiple Therapists?
Your body is interconnected and interrelated in ways that we may never fully understand. If one part of you is restricted or damaged, then every other part of your body is restricted or hindered to some degree. There is no real separation in the body. With multiple therapists working simultaneously on the same person, they are able to engage more of the total lesion pattern and support the healing process more completely. With this added support, engagement releases tend to happen more quickly and more completely, allowing the entire body to arrive at a deeper level of integration.
Who Can Benefit From CranioSacral Therapy?
CST is incredibly inclusive. If you experience dysfunction in your body that resulted from an accident, surgery, childhood trauma, emotional trauma, or an idiopathic source, then we strongly encourage you to research CranioSacral Therapy. We also recommend CST to anyone who senses a dullness in their awareness or interaction with their environment, as well as to any therapists or individuals who are simply intrigued by CST and are curious to learn more about it.
MEET THE THERAPISTS
Darin T. Puppel, BCTMB, CST-T
Darin is a dedicated and enthusiastic bodyworker. Understanding that people want (and deserve!) to feel better, he never enters a treatment with anything else as a top priority. He strives to abide by a "practical open-mindedness" that enables him to continuously grow his set of techniques. He pays close attention to what is truly working for his clients and deepen his understanding of its principles. Darin is always willing to try new techniques and is open to discussing each individual's health goals and paths in an honest, helpful way. By studying the specifics of anatomy and physiology as a whole, Darin is able to offer his unique combination of knowledge and skills to anyone who comes to him seeking betterment.
Darin started his path in bodywork as a Reiki practitioner in 2010. Later that same year, he attended the National Holistic Institute to study Massage Therapy. Their course load included: Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Pathology, Polarity therapy, reflexology, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Therapy, Sports Massage, Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Trigger-Point Therapy, and Acupressure. He then served as an intern and was later employed by Brooks Massage Therapy in Los Angeles where he became acquainted with Russian Massage. With these skills, Darin began his private practice located at the Lime in the Coconut Specialty Compounding Pharmacy in Lake Ozark, MO, which is where his office is to this day. Since Darin opened his doors here, his main focus has been on expanding his knowledge and practice of CranioSacral therapy and SomatoEmotional Release. In addition to his humble private practice as a CranioSacral Therapist practice in MO, Darin is also honored to be able Assistant Teach for the Upledger Institute since 2014.
Darin says, "I have to say that my most powerful skill is my passion. I love that I have the opportunity to facilitate the healing of my clients and I'm so blessed to assist with the learning of my colleagues."
